What we do

About Osteopathy & how it can help you.

Osteopathy is a system of health care that treats the body as a ‘whole’. This immediately distinguishes it from chiropractic and physiotherapy. By treating the body as a ‘whole’, osteopaths treat the whole body. The body is not made up of individual units working in isolation but is a system of body parts/units that are interlinked. It is this system that is fully appreciated during osteopathic treatment and which we believe gives longer lasting results.

A range of non-invasive, gentle, techniques are adopted which can involve treating the soft tissues (muscles, tendons, ligaments), the organs (e.g. the small and large intestines) and the joints, including joint manipulation (audible click).

Central Pukekohe location

I have visited Helen and her team of Osteopaths for over 18years.

My three children and husband have also visited Osteopathy Pukekohe over the last ten years. All of us have benefitted from their expertise and magic hands.

I cannot rate them highly enough - having been to many Osteopaths over the last 40years I speak from much experience - this clinic, these clinicians are among the best!

I never hesitate to recommend them to anyone and will continue to visit as and when I need to, with full confidence that they will correct the issue being presented with.

Thank you Helen and your amazing team.

What our clients have to say:

Osteopathy Pukekohe have been incredibly helpful with my back problems and getting me back on track after falls. Not only do they provide a comprehensive treatment they provide advice and exercises that helped to get me back to full strength. I thoroughly recommend them.

— Dale

I have been going to Osteopathy Pukekohe for over 18 years after moving to the Pukekohe area and having had previous osteopathic treatment. As a tradesperson there are always physical stresses placed on my body and every now and then it needs some correction.

Helen and her team of osteopaths, past and present, have always been able to correct the issues, offer stretches or exercises to help prevent a recurrence if possible or advise an alternative option if the injury/damage once worked out was outside their expertise (which is very rare).

My wife has benefitted from treatment for various injuries as well,  and also my children for sports injuries throughout their childhood and early adult life.  I have recommended many people seek treatment from Osteopathy Pukekohe over the years.
